Purpose of the study: The study aims to trace how author has portrayed characters in ways that they perform specific generate various effects determine their gender roles. It map performativity novel Estuary by close reading and analysing acts dialogues from a cultural context.
 Methodology: Qualitative analysis text was done derive findings. subjected reading. points relevant concept were highlighted using pencil. neatly organized classified notebook. developed into an essay critical thinking. Views other disciplines such as psychology are incorporated making interdisciplinary one.
 Main Findings: Though Perumal Murugan alters stereotypical roles Meghas’ parents at novel, he reinforces them more significant number times than when changes them. With his sarcasm tool, supports Kumarasurar Mangasuri typical Indian 21st century, thereby stereotyping novel.
 Applications This will be useful fields studies, domestic century Tamil culture, South Asian etc.
